Global Fund for ChildrenFive things to inspire you in 2019
Happy Holidays from all of us at GFC!
Here are five things to inspire you in 2019:
1. A prize befitting a hero. Guylande Mésadieu, founder of our Haiti partner Zanmi Timoun and tenacious advocate for the rights of child slaves, has been nominated for the prestigious 2019 World’s Children’s Prize
2. 23 community change-makers. (Okay, so maybe that makes this list longer than 5!) We’re proud to welcome these bold leaders to the GFC family. Learn more about our newest partners.
3. A growing force for girls’ rights in Central America. We’re launching a network of grassroots organizations across Honduras, Guatemala, and Nicaragua to drive collective change for girls’ rights. Get the project highlights here.
4. A reminder that kids everywhere are awesome!
5.YOU! Our community of supporters is united in the belief that all children and youth deserve a childhood of hope and opportunity. Donate today and together, we can make 2019 our best year yet.
GFC does not support local offices or affiliates of international organizations, or efforts to support or oppose candidates for public office. We do not support evangelism or proselytizing, or programs that require adherence to or conversion to religious doctrine; organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, disability, or sexual orientation; or groups that support violent activities or violate criminal law.
Global Fund for Children (GFC) UK Trust, created in 2006, is a UK registered charity (UK charity number 1119544). We work to generate vital income, create new fundraising opportunities, and raise awareness of the invaluable work of GFC’s grassroots grantees. Our aim is to extend the reach of GFC in the United Kingdom, Europe, and beyond.
