Empowering girls in Liberia
Naomi Tulay-Solanke launched Community Healthcare Initiative (CHI) during an Ebola outbreak in Liberia. The organization started by mobilizing young people to teach disease prevention in their communities. Today, CHI engages youth in addressing other challenges, including teen pregnancy, early marriage, and menstrual hygiene. Developing community capacity to fight COVID-19
When the second wave of COVID-19 struck India, GFC’s Asia team sought innovative, community-based responses.
