A new report underscores the value of GFC’s model, which supports local organizations through a combination of flexible cash and capacity development. Funding from a Place of Trust, commissioned by the Citi Foundation and produced by Synergos, makes the case that this kind of support “may be a new gold standard” to sustaining nonprofits over time, particularly during times of crisis. Read the report – including a profile of GFC – to learn more about why flexible funding matters.
GFC does not support local offices or affiliates of international organizations, or efforts to support or oppose candidates for public office. We do not support evangelism or proselytizing, or programs that require adherence to or conversion to religious doctrine; organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, disability, or sexual orientation; or groups that support violent activities or violate criminal law.
Global Fund for Children (GFC) UK Trust, created in 2006, is a UK registered charity (UK charity number 1119544). We work to generate vital income, create new fundraising opportunities, and raise awareness of the invaluable work of GFC’s grassroots grantees. Our aim is to extend the reach of GFC in the United Kingdom, Europe, and beyond.
